Employee health and safety information and acknowledgement
Your safety is important to us. In accordance Health and Safety Act of Ontario, you agree to your right and responsibilities to:
I will work in compliance with applicable Health and Safety Acts and/or regulations.
I will report to Ayngar Employment and company supervisor of any defective equipment or protective deceives that may be hazardous.
I will not use or operate any equipment or work in a way that may endanger any worker.
I will at all times wear my safety shoes and any other personal protective equipment as necessary by the client while on premises.
I will not engage in any prank, contest, and feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough boisterous conduct.
I will not use any drug or alcohol substance while under employment with Ayngar Employment.
I will not deface property of the client or use obscene language while on their premises or use the client’s resources Ex: Client’s phone line for my personnel use; computers for personal use.
I will refuse any unsafe work and advise Ayngar Employment, if I am asked to perform work that I feel is or could be unsafe.
I will ask for proper training on any equipment I have been asked to use and will operate all equipment in a safe manner; wear protective devices, equipment, or clothing as required by the position on work site.
If applicable to me, I will always carry a valid Forklift certificate while on assignment and adhere to all rules and regulations on site with respect to Forklift/Equipment handling/ Machine Operations.
I will refuse any work that I am not certified for where the client’s site did not provide adequate training to ensure competency.
I will be required to adhere to my job functions as described through the handouts & verbally by Ayngar Employment.
I will not use my cell phone on the client’s property unless on breaks or lunch breaks.
If you see any operation or you feel it is unsafe. You must report to the supervisor.
I will not wear Jewellery while working.

Detailed Guidelines:
Keep your personal and payment information confidential.
In case of emergency call Ayngar Employment right away.
Comply with your work schedule; in case of emergency call minimum 2 hours before your shift start time. The sooner Ayngar Employment is aware the better.
Requesting a DAY OFF in same day or in last minute you may result in 4 hours of your pay for non compliance.
In case you are in a situation where you cannot continue work, you must call or email us with a valid reason FIVE DAYS in advance.
If you are taking days off from work due to personal or medical appointments or any other appointments, you MUST inform us TWO DAYS in advance.
We can be reached after business hours on our cell and email which is monitored 24 hrs.
Ensure you are aware of WHMIS certification and carry all your required IDs and certificates with you.
Every worker must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures established by the company.

I have received the company's employee safety guidelines and acknowledgement that it is my responsibility to read, understand and comply with all safety policies, procedures and practices. I acknowledge that I am responsible for knowing the safety risks in my area, following safe work procedures in performing my job, reporting any unsafe work practices and assisting others I am creating a safe work environment. I further understand that failure to comply with these guidelines and safe work practices may result in corrective action, up to and including termination.
